Day three was great and informational, just as the first two days. Somthing that I am 200% sure that I will use in the future is animoto and voicethread. I really liked animoto because of the quality of the final product. I've had experience with video editing and making animated slideshows/projects etc....But animot was simple and fun to use and I can't say more about the quality. I also liked voicethread beause you can express yourself orally on every picture or slide and people can also give an explanation of what they are seeing and how they feel about it. Mrs. Longe, you were a great instructor. Your class was very comfotable and your attitude made me want to dig into the material even more, and that wouldn't have happened with an instroutor unlilke yourself. Classmates I had a wonderful time meeting you all and in the future if you need anything from "THE MAN" send me an email.......Or better yet, a TWEET...LOL
Yours Truely,

Mark Czaplewski reflection day 3
Wow, I loved this class. I am leaving with a couple of projects I am going to use in class. I worked with Jing, Wikispaces and Animoto today and I loved everybit of it. Thanks for the work time.
I loved it

It's Not Rocket Science
I was pleased to see that most of the tools we we introduced to over the last few days worked in ba
ically the same way. I almost wish that this class was offered closer to the start of school because I am eager to put these tools to use. Maybe it's a good idea to "play" with them for a while so I am qualified to introduce the students to them. I will definately use animoto, fotoflexer, and Twitter (believe it or not!).
I especially loved voicethread.
Thanks for everything Chris!

Day 3 Post
Chris, what a fabulous 3 days! I've learned so much and hope to take most, if not all, of what I learned and put it to good use this coming school year. I can think of so many ways to incorporate what I've learned in many of the units that we have for 8th grade language arts. This excites me and, if I'm excited, I think my students will be, too.
I especially love Timetoast and creating the cartoon in ToonDoo. Learning about Skype today was cool, since I've only seen it used on Oprah! Just knowing that this technology is available, mostly free, is amazing. Now it's getting ready for the upcoming school year. Well, we still have 8 weeks or so, don't we? :)
Thanks much!

Day 3 Reflection
I had a lot of fun working on projects in animoto and voicethread today. I plan to work with teachers back in my building to develop projects for their classes using these application and many of the others we have looked at over the past three days (ToonDoo...). I have several ideas in mind for English and social studies classes. The end products look so great--the kids will love creating them. Screencast-o-matic is going to be great for me to make demos of how to search on the different online services our library subscribes to. I really enjoyed having the time to create/play today. Thank you!!
#3 Reflection
Overall, this class was extremely valuable for me. I began with minimal knowledge of what a blog was, I had heard of Twitter, and knew there were sites that would be benificial for my classroom. After three days of learning and using computer technology, I know that I am headed in a positive direction, and the sites will not be intimidating to me as I explore on my own this summer. I have learned much information that I will use both professionally and personally. Thanks for a wonderful class! Ann
