I learned a lot of new things today. I had never done Twitter before and was always curious about how it worked. I'm glad to have learned how to do it effectively. I want to continue to follow some of the great people that Chris suggested in class.
I am going to love Goggle Calendar! I want to be able to have my staff at school see who is signed up for the Media Center during the school year. I have wanted to find an easy and effective way to have them see my calendar online without being able to change anything. I think this application will work great! I can't wait to try it out this fall.
I tried a number of new things this afternoon. I did a Smilebox project which I posted to the blog and also did a Jing. I have been wanting to do a tutorial on how to log in to my library catalog and was able to use the Jing program and create a tutorial. I will create a better one over the summer to use in fall with my staff. I'm glad I was able to see how the program works.
I know I will refer to the Ning often and use a lot of the other programs that are listed there. There is SO much to try and experiment with. I'm glad I have some summer left to give things a try. Although I'll be honest, I am going to enjoy my summer and not spend the whole time playing.
