Mark Czaplewski's post Day 1

I thought today went quite well. I learned about 50% new stuff and 50% was stuff I already knew. When teaching this class everyone comes in, in different places and that always poses a challenge. The biggest thing I wish to get out of this class is to create a blog for math teachers in our district. Since WAWM's new focus is collaboration and I am the department chair I am always looking for a new way to facilitate discussions in our deparment. Therfore I am looking for the best took to facilitate this collaboration. I am looking for a blog/wiki that is easy to use, allows for email alerts when a new thread is posted and will aphabetize the posts so each post is in order from the sections in our book.
