Day 2 reflection

Wow! Lots of cool stuff today. Before class even started, I learned about flocabulary's week in rap. I'll deffinately be sharing that with our social studies teachers who make the students fins current events topics to talk about each week. Yearbookyourself was very fun. Teachers will enjoy creating an "alter ego" of themselves at the beginning of a staff development session. Student could also use it in history or English classes when they are discussing topics from the 50's to the present--they could make a picture of themselves from the time period.Classtools.net is fabulous--there are many things I will be using from here including game templates, graphic organizers and classroom management tools. I loved fotoflexer--it will be fun to "mess" with some of my own photos and I know art and photo classes, and probably yearbook, would love to work with this application. Voki is fun and our foreigbn language classes are already using it. It could be used in many different ways to motivate the students though--introductions to projects like the examples shown in class. I enjoyed all the practice with embedding today. Lots of new tricks today.
