Today was really productive. My favorite part was creating my Animoto video. I'm really excited to get an educator account as I can create some great videos really quickly. Google Calendars is a big part of my life already but I think that I will be using it in the classroom a lot more now that I know about the tabs feature. However, I'm still not sold on Twitter. I will give it a shot for a while but the networking part of it doesn't seem to be as smooth as Facebook. It may be that I haven't spent enough time with it yet. Voicethread also seems to be a great tool for students to collaborate and also complete alternative assessments. It's another tool I'm very excited about.
Overall, this class was exactly what I was wanting. I added quite a bit to my tool box and polished up a number of tools that I was already using. I'm excited to employ these resources this coming year.
