I love all of the uses for Google that we learned today. I can't wait to share with my staff and students some of the great tools available in the Google suites. I'll definitely be trying all of the different features and deciding on what classes I can share them with and how they might be incorporated into the curriculum in different areas.
I also like learning the differences between a Wiki and a Blog. I have a blog on my webpage, but have wanted to help teachers in various classes create ways that they can communicate with thier students. I will definitely share wikispaces and pbwiki as options they may want to look at.
The other thing that excited me was to see that some of the tools I already use in my library media program were presented such as Soundzabound. It makes me feel good to know that there are things that I am doing that others see as being useful tools for teacher and student use.
I'm looking forward to trying some of the other tools that are listed on the syllabus, but we didn't have time for in class.
