Today I learned (Day 1) :
1. How to use Sketchcast in my classroom

•What I learned today in class – minimum 3 things that are new to me
•E-mail the 1st Sketchcast to self
•E-mail the 1st Sketchcast to teacher

2. Personal Learning Network (PLN)

3. Students will create an I-Google page
•Add a clock
•Add the weather
•Tell me 3 other interests of yours that you added to your I-Page

4. As the teacher, I created a personal/custom search for
Reading Mechanical Drawings (for Intro to Engineering)

5. Yearbookyourself.com
Students can take their own picture & place their photos in different era hairdos

6. A blog is a web log

I learned how to create a wiki and how to do some basic editing - including putting a picture on the wiki etc.
